AMR Europe trotse sponsor van TopDutch Solar Racing

An active student team is building a solar car that will participate in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.

That is not just a race, but a debilitating challenge over more than 3000 kilometers through Australia. During this challenge, several student teams from different countries drive their own built solar cars across Australia, from Darwin in the North to Adelaide in the South.

 Northern Region Team

The TopDutch Solar Racing Team does not participate as a university team, but as a Northern region team. A collaboration between all MBO, HBO and university knowledge institutions from the North of the Netherlands, the business community and the government.

Bridgestone World Solar Challenge

This competition has been taking place every other year since 1987. The race takes the participants through the outback of Australia, where they also have to set up their camp in the evening. The challenge in this challenge is to develop the efficient solar car. This is about driving sustainable innovations.

Cubicon 3D printer

AMR Europe is a proud partner of Top Dutch Solar Racing and sponsors the team with, among other things, a Cubicon 3D printer. The engineers from the team use this printer to print their prototypes and to be able to test in this way.

With this they have the possibility to print their prototypes in a fast way and so they can work efficiently on subsequent iterations and parts. For them, the Cubicon is therefore an indispensable part of their entire design process.

The challenge for Top Dutch Solar Racing? To reach the finish as a team and to be able to look back with pride on the entire period of this unique project.
